Intimidation was the name of the game at the opening buzzer in Tuesday night’s home contest as Luray’s power forward Jennifer Tutt drove down the lane to score back-to-backto-back jumpers, showing Rappahannock’s Lady Panthers who controlled the court. The Wildcats pushed the Panthers off balance and kept them there. Rappahannock’s girls struggled to regain their composure but couldn’t keep momentum long enough as the visitors put them away in the fourth quarter, scoring 11 points to RCHS’s four.
Tutt opened the scoring for Luray and then demonstrated her defensive skills bv smacking down the first shot put up by Karen Jordan, the Panther’s top point getter who totalled 40 in last week’s game against Warren County.
