Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Wood were in Wheaton, Md. on Friday to attend the first birthday party for their great grandson, Warren Edwards, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edwards and the party was held at the home of Mrs. Stephen Filvo. On Monday, family members were here from Maryland with the Woods at “DunLookin” where little Warren was honored again.

Road Race
The Fifth Annual Bluemont Fair 10 kilometer race and mile fun run is set for September 17. This year’s course (certified by JAC and RRCA) will follow a loop over hard surface and graveled country road.
Prior to September 12, runners may register for $5 in the 10K race. To register, call 703-554-8148 or write Don B. Corley, Route 1, Box 208, Bluemont, Va. 22012. Registration after September 12 through race day will be $6. The fun run is free.
Distinctive tee-shirts will be handed out to the first 200 entries in the 10K race and 50 awards will be given in 13 open and age categories. All 10K and fun runners will receive race momentos as well.
The one-mile fun run will begin at 9 a.m. and the 10K at 9:30. Registration on race day will start at 8 a.m.
The village of Bluemont is located off Route 7 in Loudoun County.
