Wilson Reunion
A reunion of the late Thurman and .Julie Thorne Wilson will be held on Sunday, September 18, behind the Orange County Elementary School in Orange beginning at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are urged to attend and bring a covered dish.
Rescue Squad Meeting
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, September 12 at 8 p.m. at the fire hall. All members are urged to attend.
Homemakers To Meet
The Flint Hill Home Extension Club will meet on Tuesday, September 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Dorothy Atkins.
The program will be presented by Fee Nettles, director of the Rappahannock Mental Health Clinic.

Settles Plan Reunion
The families of the late Harry and Rosie Whorton Settle will have their reunion on Sunday, September 11, at the pavilion in the Rappahannock County Park, across the highway from the Town of Washington.
Relatives and friends are asked to bring a covered dish to the reunion dinner which will be served at 1 p.m. “There will be games and lots of amusement,” said a family spokeswoman, “so bring vour softball glove and tennis racket," she added.
