Mrs. Ida Wines Holmes, 94, formerly of Amissville, died Monday, August 29, 19«2. at the Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk.
Mrs. Holmes was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Wines and the wife of the late Eddie Mason Holmes.
She is survived by one son, Eddie M. Holmes, Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel H. Hochn and Mrs. Lucille H. Schroder, both of Haitimore and Mrs. Roberta H. Pearson of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Lena Gray of Warrenton, 1(> grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Euneral services were conducted on Wednesday at the Amissville Baptist Church by the Rev. Joseph Stirman. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of arrangements.
