Escorted by her brother, George Yates Mullins, the bride wore a white peau de soie gown with fitted bodice scalloped Queen Anne neckline of re-embroidered Chantilly lace with seed pearls. Her long full sleeves and Cathedral train were accented by Alencon and Chantilly lace. She wore a wide brim imported Venetial lace hat, caught up on one side with a petite cluster of baby’s breath centered with a pink and white rosebud. Her finger tip veil of silk illusion attached to the hat was edged with matching cultural pearls and earrings to match; a gift from the bridegroom. She carried an old-fashioned bouquet consisting of white rosebud®, miaatuiw white carnations, orchid statiee, pink rosebudsand Rubrum lillies, accented with baby’s breath and variegated ivy. White satin ribbon edged in lace, cascaded from her bouquet.

Sharon Norris of Wakefield, a former Mary Washington College roommate of the bride was maid of honor. Her full length orchid gown of chiffon over taffeta featured a ruffled neckline ending in an off-the-shoulder effect and trimmed with rows of deep orchid satin ribbon. The princess sleeves were encircled with matching satin ribbon. The fiill skirt fell from a fitted bodice belted in satin ribbon, and ended in a ruffle. She carried an old-fashioned bouquet of mi nature pink carnations, white shasta daisies, orchid statiee, baby’s breath, and variegated ivy with matching satin ribbon. Her halo of flowers were identical to those in her bouquet.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Michael Cote of King George, Lt. Darleen Brabant, U.S.M.C. of Swansboro, N.C., sisters of the bridegroom, Julie Mullins of Front Royal, cousin of the bride, Kimberly Andrick, and Mary Bettendorf of Winchester. Their gowns were identical in design as that of the honor attendant, in shades of pink, orchid, and sweet pea. Their old fashioned bouquets and halos featured flowers and ribbon of corresponding colors.
