Residents of Harris Hollow have observed the Rush River over many years and seasons. Mr. Jeffrey Sitler, hydrogeologist, has made one “field reconnaissance” of this area. Harris Hollow residents have driven Route 622 in snow, sleet and flood, and have sometimes found it impassable.

Mr. Snead’s development — whatever it is — will make a permanent change in Harris Hollow, and the residents will have to live with it, not Mr. Jeffrey Sitier. They deserve to be told the facta.
