Omn Provin Ward, 79, of Sperryville, died on Sunday, June 10, 1984, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

A native of Alba, Pennsylvania, be was an automobile mechanic and a veteran of World War II. His parents were the late Allen Thomas and Beatrice Hamley Ward.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beulah Clatterbuck Ward; two sons, Orrin P. Ward, Jr. of Culpeper and James Albert Ward of Pensacola, Fla; two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Mae Corbin of Culpeper and Mrs. Colleen Fay Glascock of Amissville and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. Kirby Shenk. Burial was in Hillcreet Memory Gardens at Jeffersonton.
