All citizens are invited to the thrilling polo games on Rt. 618 near the Laurel Mills store and Thornton River on Sunday afternoons. The time varies because of temperatures and precipitation, and sometimes they have to be canceled. It was the 38th wedding anniversary for Frank and Doris Donald two Fridays ago as they celebrated at the Comer Post in Flint Hill. Boy was the food great!

That same weekend, Frank and Doris spent a delightful time in ColesviUe, Md. with their granddaughter, Cathy Carroll, who was graduating from Springbrook Senior High School on Sunday, and her prom was the day before! Doris said that Cathy looked like a real, Southern Belle in lavendar and lace as she waited for her fellow. She went outside for a few pictures but couldn’t get back up the steps because of the huge hoop that she was
