Ralph W. Freeman, 91, of AmiesviUe, died Monday, June 11, 1964, at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton. He was a farmer.
Funeral services will be held at the Moeer Funeral Home in Warrenton on Thursday, June 14, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Warrenton Cemetery.
Survivors include eight sisters, Ritchie E. Downe of Amiasville; Mary R. Kenney of Mt. Rainer, Md., Ora A. Rollins of Culpeper, Edna Filter of Chicago, 111., Myrtle Conroy of Warrenton, Gertrude Freeman of Harrisonburg, Cornelia Knight of Live Oaks, Fla. and Virginia Windstor of Bladenburg, Md. and a brother, John J. Freeman of Washington, D. C.
Contributions may be made to the Amiasville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad.
Mary Cleverley

Mary Underwood Cleverley died suddenly at her home in Flint Hill on June 7,1964.
Mrs. Cleverley was born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 26,1908. She had been a resident of Rappahannock County since 1961.
Mrs. Cleverley was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and Columbia University as well as Harvard University. She was a former columnist for the Harwick Massachusetts Independent and a newsbroadcaster for radio station WOCB, West Yarmouth, Mass. She married Frank T. Cleverley in 1926.
A graduate nurse, Mrs. Cleverley, during World War II served with the Red Cross in Italy. After the war she was a Special Consultant for the aging in the Federal Housing Administration during the Eisenhower years. She was the Registrar of voters in Rappahannock County for eight years.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Winslow McConchie of Brewster, Mass.; her son-in-law, Warren McConchie of Brewster, Mass.; and two grandsons, Richard and Craig McConchie of New York City.
At Mrs. Cleverie/s specific request, no funeral services were held. The fiunily will hold a get-together for Mrs. Cleverley’s friends at The Comer Post Restaurant (downstairs section) at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16,1964.
