Ian Pryde, 74, of Washington, died Tuesday, June 5,1984, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A native of England, Mr. Pryde was a retired farmer. He had lived in Rappahannock County for many years. He was a member of the board of directors of Culpeper Memorial Hospital, past president of Rappahannock Lions Club, past president of Rappahannock Farm Bureau and a member of the Sperryville Rescue Squad.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Smith Pryde of Washington; two daughters, Mrs. John J. McLeod, Jr. of Sterling and Mrs. Ray W. Peck of Burke; two grandchildren and five sisters.
Graveside services were conducted on Friday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cemetery in Woodville by the Rev. Jennings Hobson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Culpeper Memorial Hospital or Sperryville Rescue Squad.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper.
