The next day, Cathy’s graduation was held at Cole Field House on the University of Maryland campus. Over 400 students were graduated, and they exemplified a dignified and beautiful ceremony. It was followed by the throwing of caps into the air with fire crackers bursting, students running and laughing and puffs of smoke. Doris said she’s never seen anything like it—it was so funny!
Well, most of our Castleton citizens were hot and miserable this past week with the wretched weather that has hit our country. People like Howard and Helen Holschuh are working vigorously in their garden in these sweltering and humid temperatures. It’s amazing how the insects seem to thrive so well in this weather! Let’s hope the “Wingfield Report” has good news for the coming week!
