Maria Roemer, 15, will work at the Rappahannock News this summer as an unpaid intern. She started work on June 11.
Miss Roemer is a 9th grader at Rappahannock County High School (RCHS). She applied for this position by writing a letter to the Rappahannock News asking if she may work there. In exchange for her help at the office, Miss Roemer hopes to learn more about writing stories on her own.
