The appeal of Roger and Diane Kidwell of a decision by Zoning Administrator David Konick consumed several hours of the Board of Zoning Appeals monthly meeting August 22.
The Kidwells contend that their neighbor, Patricia Saltonstall, has constructed a multi-family dwelling on her property on Rt. 729 near Flint Hill in spite of a previous denial by the BZA of permission to allow her to do so.
Roger Kidwell stated that Saltonstall had in fact gone ahead with the construction of a multi-family dwelling consisting of two separate units attached by an implement shed.
Kidwell said that the structure had two kitchens, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, two electrical hookups, and that he had seen two septic tanks delivered, although only one was eventually inspected.
“We think that she had the second tank installed at night over a weekend,” Kidwell said.
