The Woman’s Society of Christian Service of the Flint Hill United Methdoist Church held their annual picnic on Monday, August 20 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M.H. Brady. Approximately 35 members and their families were present for the event.

Bobby Smoot of Culpeper was a Saturday dinner guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Smoot. Guests on Saturday evening were Mr. and Mrs. William Smoot, Jr. of Richmond.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brady and sons, Matthew and Patrick of Arlington were Saturday guests of their mother, Mrs. Moffett Brady. Saturday overnight guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane of Lanham, Md. Visiting on Sunday was Mrs. Mary Alice Atkins of Amissville.

Keith Kinsey of Front Royal has been spending a few days with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff.

Mrs. Betty Layman of Winchester has returned home after spending a week with her aunt, Mrs. Warren Presgraves. Mrs. Mary Martin of Front Royal spent a few days recently with her sister, Mrs. Presgraves.
