What I did say, in answer to Mr. Philippidis’ question about what type of school Wakefield is, was: “Wakefield is a college preparatory school which seeks to prepare students for some of the most competitive colleges and universities in the country. Out of last year's graduating class of 26, eight seniors were accepted at the highly competitive University of Virginia, ranked by many as the number-one public university in the country.
I also said that, although Wakefield’s curriculum is designed primarily for the high ability student, learning is infectious, and very average students often thrive here.
