NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE TAX

ORDINANCE FOR RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY At 10:00 A.M. on September 10, 1984 in the Courthouse building, Washington Virginia, the Board of Supervisors for Rappahannock County, Virginia shall propose for passage, and hold a public hearing with respect to, a revision of the Motor Vehicle License Tax Ordinance for Rappahannock County. Virginia,” which revision provides in substance, as follows: 1 the license fee shall be raised to $15.00 for motorcycles, and to $20.00 for all other vehicles subject to the tax; 2. for the imposition of a $20.00 fine for violation of the Ordinance; 3. for deletion from the Ordinance of language no longer in accord with State enabling legislation. The complete text of the revised Ordinance is available for public inspection at the Circuit Court Clerk's Office of Rappahannock County, Virginia in Washington Virginia, and a copy is posted on the bulletin board inside the Rappahannock Countv Courthouse 7 Upon becoming effective, this Ordinance shall supercede and replace all prior County ordinances, or amendments thereto, concerning the vehicle license tax now provided for by Section 46.1 -65 of the Code Of Virginia.
