James Carter Brooks pleaded guilty Tuesday in General District Court to a charge of second-offense driving while intoxicated (DWI).
Judge John Alexander ordered Brooks to pay a $200 fine and $20 in court costs, suspended his driving license for three years, and sentenced him to 30 days in jail—before reducing the sentence to 10 days, to be served over five successive weekends.
