Mrs. Thomas Eastham was hostess to the Flint Hill Bridge Club on Monday evening at her home.

Prizes were won by Mrs. Richard Latham, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. James Massie and Mrs. W.A. Moore.

Others playing were Mrs. Robert Eastham, Mrs. L.B. Burford, Mrs. Thomas Massie and Mrs. Emory Russell.

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Coppage of Arlington were Sunday guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Gentry.

Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Smoot and Mr. Smoot’s sister, Mrs. Carrie Kines of Front Royal motored to New Market on Sunday to visit with their brother, Humpy Smoot at the Life Care Center.

Jimmy Bywaters of Fishersville spent Saturday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Bywaters. Jimmy’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Smoot visited with him on Saturday.

Keith Kinsey of Front Royal spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff. The Huffs and Keith were in Martinsburg, West Virginia on Monday.

Dinner guests recently of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson were Clyde Lillard, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard, Mrs. Frances Hudson and Kathy Hudson.

Mrs. Warren Presgraves was a Thursday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Doffmier on the Strasburg Road. They were celebrating the birthdays of Mrs. Presgraves and Mr. Doffmier.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard spent the weekend with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wade at Chantilly.

Mrs. Ethel Pullen was a Thursday overnight guest of her daught r, Mrs. Kathleen Nicholson at Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Odie Herndon and sons of Manassas were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Hudson and Kathy.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson were dinner guests on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hickerson at Chester Gap. They were celebrating the birthdays of Elmer Hickerson and son.

Warren Presgraves was moved from the Veterans Hospital at Martinsburg, West Virginia on Wednesday to the Shawnee Nursing Home at Winchester.

Miss Dasha Smoot and Mike Williams of Front Royal were Sunday evening guests of Dasha’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Smoot.

Sunday visitors of Mrs. Robert Nethers were Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers, Charles Corder, Jr., Karen Corder, Mrs. Dorothy Lewis, Mrs. Helen Coffey and Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather.
