Basketball Teams Win At Home
The varsity and junior varsity Rappahannock High basketball teams won their games against Stonewall Jackson on Friday, January 25. The junior varsity team won by a score of 43-39, and the varsity w on by 51-44.
The game was crucial for Rappahannock’s varsity team since Stonewall was in fourth place in the district with a game and a half lead over Rappahannock. Rappahannock’s win cut Stonewall’s lead to a half game. Rappahannock played Strasburg Tuesday night, and Dawson said before the game that he was optimistic that the varsitv team would win the game.
