Historical Society To Meet In March
The Rappahannock Historical Society has postponed its February meeting due to cold weather conditions. The next meeting will be held Friday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Historical Society building on Gay Street in Washington. For additional information call President Rex Lindstrom at 675-3623.
Film Hour For Preschoolers
Starting February 6 and running five consecutive Wednesdays, the Rappahannock County Library will be showing films for children between the ages of two and five. The films scheduled for the 6th will be: Changes, Changes; Greedy Hank’s Big Pocket; Foolish Frog and The Cat and The Fiddler. Show time will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Please call or come by the library to register your child.
Ladies To Meet
The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will meet on Monday, February 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall. All members and interested persons are urged to attend.
Black History Month To Be Observed
The Mary Magdalene Chapter 208 and order of Eastern Star of Front Royal will be observing Black History month with a talent program on Saturday, February 2 at 7 p.m. at the Elks Home Lodge, located on Pine Street in Front Royal. Everyone is invited to attend.
