and seventh graders at the Rappahannock Elementary School are selling pizza kits in an effort to earn money for the annual seventh grade trip to Williamsburg for this year and next. The seventh graders will end their sale on February 6, and will deliver the kits on February 13.

The sixth graders, whose proceeds will go towards their trip next year,, will continue taking orders for the kits through February, in March, April and May. This year’s trip is scheduled for March 19-22.

The basic pizza kit includes six 12 inch round crusts, 30 ounces of pizza sauce, one and a half pounds of shredded cheese, 150 slices of pepperoni or one and a half pounds of sausage, six cardboard discs and six freezer bags for $15.55. A cheese kit is also available for that price with a two and a half pound bag of cheese and everything except the meat included. Pizza kits with whole wheat crusts can be ordered for $17.03.

Extra ingredients can also be purchased. Extra pepperoni or sausage can be ordered for $2.86, extra cheese costs $4.37 a pound, a one pound can of mushrooms costs $3.12, 12 ounces of Canadian bacon is $4.11, 30 more ounces of pizza sauce is $1.46 and taco sauce for $1.46. A Mexi-meal kit is also available for $15.55.
