Mamie Timbers
Mamie L. Timbers of Reston died July 24 at Commonwealth Hospital, Fairfax.
She is survived by her mother, Marie Grayson of Upperville; five daughters, Mamie Morgan of Amissville, Ella Timbers of Sterling, Mary Starkes, Alice Timbers and Vickie Timbers, all of Reston, and nine sons, Jesse, Richard, Melvin, Albert and Anthony Timbers, all of Reston, Robert Timbers of Fairfax, Landon Timbers of Warrenton and David Timbers of Annandale.
Additional survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Townley of Front Royal, Edith Yates and Josephine Tapscott, both of Warrenton; two brothers, Roy Grayson of Falls Church and Harry Lee Grayson of Belmont, New York, 41 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted July 28 at Joynes Funeral Home, Warrenton, by Rev. Tom Adams. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Upperville.
C. R. ‘Ricky’ Dodson
Clarence Richard “Ricky” Dodson, 19, of Gordonsville, died July 26 as the result of an automobile accident in Rappahannock County. Mr. Dodson was a native of Maryland and had lived in Gordonsville a short time. He was a carpenter.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence R. Dodson of Gordonsville; four sisters, Tammy L. Dodson of Culpeper, Christina M. Dodson of Maryland, Sherry L. Dodson and Dawn A. Dodson, both of Gordonsville; one brother, Robert W. Dodson of Maryland, and his grand
