Mr. Sevak and a passenger in the car, Sulaksh R. Gautan, 40, died at the scene.
Two other passengers in the car, Lilupi Sevak, 38, and Zarine S. Gautan, 35, were airlifted by the Pegasus medical helicopter to the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. Mrs. Sevak was listed in stable but guarded condition on Tuesday evening, according to hospital administrator David Huagh. Mrs. Gautan is in critical condition in the intensive care unit, Mr. Huagh said.
