The Shenrapawa District of the Shenandoah Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, will hold a Cub Scout Olympics on Saturday, August 2, rain or shine. This year’s Olympics will be held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center, Front Royal. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the closing ceremony will end at 3:30 p.m. Cub Scouts may register the day of the event.

This year marks the 14th year for this annual Shenrapawa event. The Cub Scouts will be divided into age groups and compete in six Olympic events. The events are standing long jump, situps, pushups, 50 yard dash, basketball shoot and softball throw. Place ribbons will be presented for
