An accident early Saturday morning on Rt. 617 in Castleton killed Clarence Richard Dodson, Jr., 19, of Rt. 2, Box 552, Amissville.
According to Trooper H. A. Newlin, Mr. Dodson was the driver of a 1980 Plymouth Arrow which was headed south just past the intersection of Rt. 618 and Rt. 617 at approximately 2:30 a.m. Mr. Dodson apparently lost control of the car, which ran off the left side of the road and through a fence on the property of Mrs. A. C. Hinsley. Trooper Newlin said the car continued into the field, flipped over and came to rest on its wheels.
