The total amount of rental payments for any fiscal year may not exceed $50,000, or its equivalent if inkind payments are made.
Producers will be allowed to harvest their 1986 crop before the contract becomes effective, if necessary.
Land that is designed for a 1987 contract may not be grazed after October 1, 1986.
Interested farmers should submit their bid for the per-acre rental rate they are willing to accept. Bids must be placed with their local ASCS office between August 5 and August 15.
