Saturday evening Mrs. Campbell and the Baileys attended the Michael Remsburg-Tina Campbell wedding at the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Frederick, Md. The reception was held at the New Midway Fire Hall. Tina is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Campbell and a niece of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell.
Happy wedding anniversary to Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell who celebrated their 49th anniversary August 2.
Luncheon guests Saturday of Miss Mary Miller Wood were Mr. and Mrs. Amos Ritenour of Reliance and Mrs. Louise Dean of South Gate, Mich.
Miss Desiree Phoeler of Richmond was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Ray Pullen and family and Mrs. Janie Pullen. Bill Pullen also visited the family over the weekend.
Visiting Mrs. Janie Pullen and family Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brown Estes of Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Pfalzgraff at Fairview Beach. On Saturday they toured the Caledon Natural Area in King George, where they saw bald eagles and other wildlife.
Mrs. Jean B. Moffett returned home Friday after spending two weeks as the guest of her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Page Moffett in Leesburg.
Frank and Janie Moffett and daughters Holly and Melanie have returned from their vacation in Florida and the Virginia Eastern Shore. While in Florida the Moffetts visited Disney World, site of the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center. The Virginia Eastern Shore visit including viewing the annual Chincoteague pony round-up and swim July 30.
