Lane elected

to CF Board

Nelson P. Lane of Woodville has been elected to serve as a member of the Central Fidelity Bank Advisory Board, according to an announcement from Ralph H. DeRubbo, chairman of the board.

DeRubbo noted, “Over the years, our strong board has contributed greatly to the continued success of Central Fidelity Bank. As an involved citizen, Nelson’s viewpoint on community affairs and the economy of the area will be most valuable.”

A native of Lake Forest, 111., Nelson attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where ico, a geology major.

In 1978 Lane moved to Woodville to help manage the family farming operation. In 1980 Nelson was appointed to the Rappahannock County School Board of Supervisors and in 1983 elected to the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors representing the Stonewall-Hawthome District.

Nelson and his wife, Catharine, reside at Hawthorn Farm with their two children, Phelps and Tennessee.
