ARTS III — History and Appreciation of Art surveys the development of western art from the cave paintings through the Gothic cathedrals. This course is the first of a series on western art. The college transferable course is offered by lecture on Tuesdays, 6-9 p.m.
ARTS 206 — Growth of American Art identifies America’s unique contribution to the visual arts, from the early settlements to the present day. The college transferable course is offered by lecture on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 2-3:30.
INDG 109 — Styles in Furniture and Interiors presents the history of style in furniture, architectural interiors, and the decorative arts. This course is recommended for those interested in interior design, and is offered by lecture on Mondays, 6-9 p.m.
