A graveside service was conducted Feb. 19 at Prospect Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Jerry Young.
Ellie Dodson
Elbe Atkins Dodson, 83, of Winchester, died Feb. 22 in the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Dodson was bom March 23, 1904, in Sperryville, the daughter of Marion and Laura Atkins. She married Ellis B. Dodson, who predeceased her.
Surviving are three daughters, Dorothy Bailey, Hester Ramey and Esther Dodson of Winchester, three sons, Paul W. Dodson of Toms Brook, James E. Dodson and Charles Dodson of Stephens City, two sisters, Nellie Dodson of Front Royal and Stella Jenkins of Stephens City, two brothers, Raymond Atkins of Toms Brook and Gilbert Atkins of Front Royal, 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Feb. 25 at the Jones Funeral Home in Winchester by the Rev. Michael L. Grooms. Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery, Stephens City.
