Mrs. Edith Green accompanied by Mrs. Harold Eaton of Culpeper spent Monday shopping in Williamsburg. On Tuesday they went to Virginia Beach where they attended the Women’s Missionary Union’s annual meeting which was in session through Wednesday at the Civic Center.
Our congratulations to Chris Barb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Barb and an eighth grader at Culpeper Junior High, for winning this year’s Culpeper County spelling bee. He will go on to the Spelling Bee Regional Final April 17 at Hermitage High School in Henrico County.
