Chester Gap Baptist

Easter sunrise services will be held at the Chester Gap Baptist Church on Sunday, April 3, at 6:30. Breakfast will follow. Sunday School will be at 10 a.m., worship at 11 and evening service at 6:30.

Flint Hill United Methodist

An Easter sunrise service will be held at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 3, at 6:30. Breakfast will be served at the fire hall following the service.

Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church

Good Friday Communion service will begin the celebration of Easter at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 1. A Good Friday message will be followed by the Lord’s Supper.

At noon Saturday, April 2, children of the community are invited to an Easter egg party at the church. Each child is asked to bring a dozen hard boiled eggs and a basket. Lunch will be served.

Easter Sunday worship will begin with a sunrise service at 6:45 on Burke’s hill on Route 522 near Boston. In case of rain, the service will be held in the church, on Rt. 522 south of Woodville. Breakfast in the church activity room will follow immediately.

Sunday School at 9:45 and the morning worship at 11 will complete the day.

Mt. Lebanon Pastor John Warren invites all friends and neighbors to join in these joyous celebrations of the risen Lord Jesus.

Macedonia Baptist

The Seven Last Sayings of Christ will be presented at the Macedonia Baptist Church, Flint Hill, Friday, April 1, at 8 p.m. Seven ministers from various churches will be the guests. Everyone is invited.

On Sunday, April 3, at 3 p.m. the Voices of Inspiration Men’s Chorus and the Price Singers will celebrate their anniversary at the Macedonia Baptist Church. The United Gospel Stars of Thornburg, Va., will be the guests. Lunch will be served after the morning service. Rev. James A. Price, pastor, invites the public to attend.
