Maggie Rogers. PTA nomination committee chairman, presented her committee's recommendations for next year’s officers at March’s monthly RCES PTA meeting. Nominations were: President. Sherry Brightbill; Vice President, Deborah Flinchum; Secretary. Aney Massie: Treasurer, Marsha Thompson.
Nominations for Camille Harris and Mary Jane Swift for president and treasurer, respectively, were accepted from the floor. Their names were added to the ballot. Voting will take place at April’s meeting.
Principal Maggie Piper reported the results of the magazine drive, which she called a success. Forty percent of all sales will be used to buy two-way bus radios.
