baseball club reunion
The Sperryville Tigers Baseball Club will have a reunion on Monday, Sept. 5, at the Horseshoe Hills Recreation Park in Sperryville. It will begin at noon. The public is invited. There will be games and activities during the day. For more information call 987-8339.

Golden Key to perform at Gay St.
“Our Stories Together, Old and New,” a presentation of the Golden Key performance group, will be at the Gay Street Theater in Washington on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. The Golden Key is an ensemble of musicians and dancers who present traditional tales. Tickets will be on sale at the Village Cafe in Washington, Royal Oak Bookshop in Front Royal, Burke’s Store in Woodville, Faith Mountain in Sperryville, Picture This in Warrenton and the Culpeper Music Center. “Publicizing Yourself,” the constant concern of the small businessman and artist, will be the title of the RAAC Artists’ Forum presentation on Friday, Sept. 30 at Blackwater Homestead in Boston from 7-10 p.m. Participants will learn basic concepts of promotion, publication design and printing techniques. The Rappahannock County Fire and Rescue Association will sponsor its annual “Fire School” at the Amissville VFD on Sept. 10-11 and 17-18.
