the City of Fairfax Band under the direction of Dr. Thomas Hill, will present a program of hot weather and concert band favorites, blues and music by Jerome Kern and Cole Porter. Free balloons will be available for children and hot dogs and soft drinks will be sold on the lawn.
Sunday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m., Bill Dayton and his 18-piece orchestra will play the music of the Big Band Era of the 30’s and 40’s. This wellknown band from Gettysburg has played throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and the Washington, D. C. area.
