Two other items: Nina Stamer of Flint Hill is Litter Coordinator for the county. Please support her efforts for a recycling center at the new landfill. Rappahannock citizens are too independant to go for mandatory recycling but many people will be glad to have a place where they can take glass, aluminium and paper. Not only can it lessen the landfill load but we must conserve our earth’s ever-limited resources.
Finally, many of you know that Frank and I and Hie children have moved to Charlottesville. We ar£ sorry to leave and only do so to meet some of our family’s needs. This may in part explain, as Ray Pullen and Brad Fisher doubtlessly know, why water use in the town of Washington has decreased. It’s all that laundry that I was (and still am) hanging out — especially diapers (talking about recycling!)
