Granola A quick and easy cereal to make. Supplies you with protein, vitamins E and B. Make a large batch and store it in refrigerator until needed. You can vary your granola recipe by adding or subtracting items from it. Let your imagination go! 3 cups oat flakes 1/2 cup wheat flakes 1/2 cup bran 1/2 cup wheat germ 1/2 cup sunflower seeds 1/3 cup sesame seeds 1/2 cup non-instant dry milk powder

1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 cup raisins (added after baking)

Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl except for the raisins, which are added after baking. Heat in a saucepan over low heat the following ingredients: 2/3 cup oil 1/3 cup honey 1/4 cup molasses, unsulfured 1 T. vanilla extract ! Pour the above heated ingre-, dients over the dry ingredients and stir well. Spread the mixture onto ^ cookie sheet and bake at 300 degrees^ for 1 hour. Stir occasionally. Cool) and store in a refrigerator, freezer or in a cool, dry place. Yield: 6 cups. Uses for Granola Add to cookie or cake dough. Use as a pie crust or add it to your favorite quick bread. Eat it as a cereal or top other cereals with it. Eat it out of hand as a snack. Top fresh fruit, ice cream, puddings, casseroles and vegetables with it. Stir in yogurt.
