The Alexandria Quintet will open the 1988-89 season of the Community Concert Association with its appearance on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 8 p.m. in the Culpeper County High School Auditorium.

This ensemble, which combines the sounds of flute, harp and strings, has a wealth of repertoire including the works of DeBussy and Ravel as well as classical gems of Handel, Rossini and Mozart.

Members of the quintet are Sato Moughalian, flute; Gil Morgenstem, violin; Nardo Poy, viola; Eugene Bondi, cello; and Sarah Voynow, harp.

The artists, each well-known individually, have combined their talents in critically acclaimed performances throughout the United States from coast to coast. More than 40 concerts have been scheduled for their current season.
