A cookout was held at the home of Bucky and Nancy Frazier on Sunday afternoon. Guests were Cecil and Elizabeth Kilby of Culpeper, Ronnie Webb and Jennings Webb, both of Amissville, Karen and Mike Carter, Gladys Havstad, Ruth Blackwell, Tim Henderson, Kelly Frazier and Charlene Harlow. The Fraziers son Chris did the cooking and everyone enjoyed the afternoon with food, horseshoe pitching and volleyball games.
Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Brown and Melissa and Roger Rutherford during the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Greg Smoot, Cheryl, Jamie and Katrina of South Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pullen Jr. and Robbie of Flint Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown and Angela of Boston, Mamie Brown of Woodville, Pam Deal of Culpeper, Elvis Dodson, Benji and Kelly, all, of Slate Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rutherford, Barbara and Jesse of Rixeyville, Nancy Menefee of Front Royal and Joyce Ann Menefee of Washington. Also visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Deal, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Menefee, Ricky and Keith, Mr. and Mrs. Rick Harper, Christine Foreman, Jamie and Celena, all local.
