The charge is a Class 1 misdemeanor, which carries a possible sentence of up to one year in prison plus a $1,000 fine. Both men are being held in the jail. Wynkoop is serving a sentence for burglary and Walters is awaiting trial on multiple burglary charges.

William Oakley Craft, 52, of Route 1, Castleton, was indicted by ' the grand jury on two felony charges of sexual assault, including one rape charge. According to the indictments the incidents allegedly occured between June, 1980 and April. 1988. If convicted Craft faces a possible sentence of five year to life on the rape charge, and one to 10 years on the second sexual assault charge. He is free on $20,000 bond.
Editor's note: Due to the nature of the allegations against Craft, one of the specific charges has not been published. That judgment was made in the interest of protecting the identity of the cictim.
