The traditional “opening shot” of the annual State Fair of Virginia is the distribution of the Fair’s Premium Catalogue which is now being mailed to more than 7,500 former and potential exhibitors in time for them to make plans for the eventscheduled this year for Sept. 21-Oct. 1.
The catalogue gives complete information on exhibiting in 61 departments and lists premium offerings totaling $134,592. It contains rules and information for exhibitors and includes a program of farm related events including state and national contests, arts and crafts competitions and three livestock sales.
