that the movies might be going?
Since this time, Panarama Video has closed down, again without notice to its paying customers.
Will the end result of this fear of adult movies mean no cable at all?
The concern about young children is legitimate, but if Mr. Von Fange and Mr. Heddleston know of children as young as six years old who are watching adult movies, then they have information about child abuse, or at least child neglect, that should be given to the proper authorities. Somewhere, an adult is responsible.
I believe that Saint Jon and Saint Tom are merely using this emotional issue in an attempt to establish their Community Standards Committee. This committee, once established would quickly grow in power.
How far do you want them to go in controlling your life? What you can see on television? What movies you can rent? What music you can listen to? What books you can read? What bumper stickers you can put on your car?
The most important freedom we have in this country is the freedom of choice. The Constitution guarantees our freedoms by limiting the restraints government can place on us.
Mr. Von Fange and Mr. Heddleston, please exercise control over your televisions with the channel selector and the on-off switch, but leave my television alone.
