like to "hitchhike" with goods and people, attaching themselves to outdoor household articles and recreational vehicles which may move from infested to uninfested areas. Be sure to check the underside and exterior area of motor homes, travel trailers and boats.
All outdoor household articles and finvood should be inspected, either by a pest control trained at detection of the gypsy moth, or by homeowners themselves. Any egg masses, caterpillars, pupae, or moths found should be removed and destroyed.
