The Minor League finished up its regular season play last week with the Braves winning over the Red Legs, 11-4. This newly formed league is for children aged 8-10. It’s been an exciting season for those youngsters, the coaches say, with the Braves leading the league with a 5-1 record. The Indians follow in second place with a 4-1 record, followed by the Red Legs at 0-6.
The T-ballers have also had an exciting season, with the kids learning the fundamentals and having a good time as well. Although in that league no scores are kept, the players learn the most important facets of the game while laying the groundwork for future development.
