The law t requires tax to be withheld from any employee for whom FICA (Social Security) \ withholding is required. It also requires that ! any employees subject to the new \ regulations must fill out a W-4 form prior to *, the first pay period in January. The • employer will also be required to make ; deposits of the withheld taxes according to • a schedule prescribed by the IRS.
