According to Marie Davis of the county’s Social Services Department, the department plans to act as the liasion between community members and Mrs. Schade, who is staying with her sister in Culpeper County.
Mrs. Davis suggested that anyone who has clothing, household items or other things which might be useful should call the department (675-3313) with the information. Social Services will then contact Mrs. Schade to see if she needs the items.
Mrs. Schade wears size 10-11 dresses, and size 6 1/2 shoes. Mrs. Davis added that cash donations will also be welcomed, and may be sent through the Social Services Department, P.O. Box 87, Washington, Va. 22747.
