Where does it stop? Reading the Dec. 14, Rappahannock News report on the ARB meeting for the Town of Washington was revolting. Wayne Haffler, the non-town resident on the board, is attempting to run the little man out of town. His wishes for scale models and 10 sets of drawings of an addition are totally ridiculous.

Imagine the costs of building a scale model of your home. Now imagine that your plan could be rejected, or your model require modification over and over to meet approval.

My next complaint for the ARB is why in the world must they have seven copies of all architectual drawings? Most builders don’t need seven sets of
