The Warrenton residency is seekins a qualified individual to independently inspect all assignsed phases of highway and related structure construction and maintenance projects Will also prepare and review related reports and records, supervise and coordinate the work of other inspectors and perform other related duties The successful applicant will have knowledge of highway construction inspection techniques, methods, procedures, construction terms and symbols, and roadway plans. Requires the ability to assign and evaluate the work of other inspectors, manage total contract projects to satisfactory completion; interpret contracts, special provisions, plans, and specifications, use engineering field equipment, record data clearly and concisely, interpret and prepare reports, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and perform basic mathematic and geometric calculations Requires willingness to work adjusted schedules and overtime hours. Some work may be required in the vicinity of devices emitting low level ionization radiation. Salary: $18,723 - $25,572 with excellent benefits.
