spring students
New students who delayed beginning their ‘college education will find an array of courses and services for new students available for the Spring semester at Lord Fairfax Community College. Registration, program and course advising, skillsplacement testing and orientation will all be available in January.
For those students interested in a business-related program, seats are available in Principles of Accounting I, Introduction to Business, Fundamentals of Computer * Information Systems, KeyboardingTypewriting I, and Principles of Economics.
Specific courses that meet general education requirements for first-time students include English Composition I, Introduction to Mathematics, Mathematics for the Liberal Arts, College Algebra, Applied Calculus, College Chemistry I History of Western Civilization 1 and Contemporary American Civilization. In addition to these offerings, a large number of elective courses are available for new or returning students.
