The Board of Supervisors approved a budget of $7,258,143 for the fiscal year which begins July 1 at a special meeting Monday evening.
The budget will be financed by a 77-cent tax rate on real estate and a rate of $2.90 on personal property. That represents an increase of two cents on the real estate rate. The personal property tax rate will remain as it was for this fiscal year.
